In Graphic Design with Canva 1, your child will discover the fundamentals of digital design using Canva — one of the world's most popular and intuitive design platforms. From typography and color theory to branding and social media graphics, your child will walk away with a portfolio of eye-catching designs they created themselves.

What Your Child Will Learn:
- Navigate the Canva interface and tools with confidence
- Understand basic typography, color, and layout concepts
- Use fonts, photos, backgrounds, and templates effectively
- Create GIFs, videos, and branded designs
- Apply design shortcuts and best practices for eye-catching graphics
Duration: 10 Hours | 10 Sessions (1 hour per session)

- Mac or Windows PC
- Canva — free account required (Pro subscription not needed)
- Webcam
- Stable Internet Connection
- Zoom (video conferencing)
Prerequisites: None — no prior design experience needed!

REFUND POLICIES
To ensure a slot in your selected class, FULL PAYMENT is required at the time of registration. Two (2) weeks withdrawal notice is required for a refund which will have a processing fee deduction of 10%. If a request for a refund is made within 2 weeks to 48 hours before the class starts, you are entitled to a 50% refund. There will be no refunds or school credits issued on cancellations less than 48 hours notice from the class start date.
MAKE-UP CLASS POLICY
Private Classes: Make-up classes may be arranged on a limited basis and must be requested at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. Only one (1) make-up class is allowed per program, and all rescheduling requests are subject to the coach and schedule availability. Please note that missed make-up classes cannot be rescheduled.
Summer Group Classes: Due to the group format and fixed schedule of summer classes, rescheduling is not possible. If a class is missed, a recording of the session will be provided for your reference.
MEDIA CONSENT
The Coding School, Inc. reserves the right to photograph, videotape or record classes, courses or events at or in connection with the School.
I agree and authorize The Coding School, Inc. to photograph, videotape and to use, reproduce, and modify such materials for promotional and/or commercial purposes in any media without any compensation or remuneration.
I hereby release and waive The Coding School, Inc. from any claims regarding the photographs and videos, including but not limited to, infringement of the rights of privacy and publicity. I represent and warrant that I have the legal right to grant this release.
